Flying top cover for Iraqi Freedom

ABOVE IRAQ -- Col. Kevin "Omar" Bradley, director of staff of the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, Balad Air Base, Iraq, provides close air support Aug. 25 to coalition forces with an F-16 Fighting Falcon. Active duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen provide collation forces around-the-clock armed reconnaissance and close-air support with F-16s and MQ-1 Predators operating from Balad, and A-10 Thunderbolt IIs operating from Al Asad Airbase, Iraq. This F-16 is deployed from the 158th Fighter Wing, Vermont Air National Guard at Burlington, Vt.
