F-94 Starfighter begins restoration

A Lockheed F-94 Starfighter is towed from its outdoor display at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, Syracuse, New York to the base's main hanger in preparation for extensive renovations. The aircraft was flown by the base's 174th Fighter Wing from 1954-57 as an all-weather interceptor. After its renovation, the F-94 will join the 174th's other historical aircraft in the base's planned Air Park. (photo taken November 2010)
