Local Community Organizations Provide Assistance to Struggling Unit Members and Their Families at Hancock Field ANGB

Hancock Field and 27th Brigade’s Family Programs offices on 7 December 2011, received 36 and 46 Christmas trees totaling 82 trees from the Trees for Troops program delivered by logistical partner Fed-Ex. The Trees for Troops program was developed to provide holiday spirit to military families experiencing the holiday season with a deployed service member. The Christmas trees provided to the Trees for Troops program are provided by various local and regional people and organizations that choose to support military families by their purchase and donations of Christmas trees.
