Military Advisory Council Pays a Visit to Hancock Field

HANCOCK FIELD AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, SYRACUSE, NY -- Col. Greg Semmel, Commander of the 174th Attack Wing, addressed the Hancock Field Military Advisory Council from Centerstate CEO today during a short briefing here 6 May 2014.

Members of the advisory council listened to briefings from the 152nd Air operations Group, the 274th Air Support Operations Squadron and the 174th Operations Group.

"This is an educational piece, so that we can teach them the diversity of our mission sets and what we actually do from Hancock Field," said Chief Master Sgt. Russell Youngs, Command Chief Master Sergeant of the 174th Attack Wing. "They are here to completely support Hancock Field."
