AFCT Study Sessions Update Published March 5, 2008 By SMSgt Rosemarie Murray 174FW, Education Office 5 March 2008 -- Many members have expressed an interest in taking the Armed Forces Classification Test (AFCT). This test is administered to those members who would like to increase their ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) scores. Members should check their initial ASVAB scores to determine if they are in need of AFCT testing. Beginning in March, study sessions will be available to review the Math and Language subsections of this test. Members will have an opportunity to prepare for the test using the AFCT study guide along with comprehensive review sheets for each subject area. Each study session will last 90 minutes and seating is limited to 10 members per class. The dates and times of each session will be posted on the Q drive. Most sessions will be held during the week but review will also be offered on the UTA's for traditional guardsman. If you have any questions about the AFCT review sessions, or wish to sign up for a session, please contact SMSgt Murray by e-mail at rosemarie.murray@nysyra.ang.af.mil or by phone at 315-233-2409.
