The 174th Attack Wing is one of five wings that comprise the New York Air National Guard. These wings, along with the Eastern Air Defense Sector make the New York Air National Guard one of the largest Air Guard's in the United States. The 174th Attack Wing is headquartered at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in Syracuse, NY. The Wing's primary mission is the operate the MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft.
