Hancock Field welcomes Congressman Maffei

Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, Syracuse, New York -- U.S. Representative Dan Maffei, representing New York's 24th District which includes Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, visited here on Saturday May 4, 2013 to receive a mission update and to meet with Airman across the 174th Attack Wing.
During his tour, Congressman Maffei toured the 152 Air Operations Group, the 274th Air Support Operations Squadron and various units of the 174th Attack Wing. He also had the opportunity to meet with numerous Airmen when he visited the dining facility for lunch.
Every Airman was met with a sincere "Thank you for your service." Mr. Maffei concluded his visit by stating, "one of the greatest honors of representing this district is the honor of representing the men and women of the 174th Attack Wing and its many diverse and pioneering units."
Congressman Maffei is a member of the powerful House Armed Services Committee. He was joined on the visit by his District Director, Laurie Black, and one of his Constituent Caseworkers from his Syracuse office, Ms. Chari Mayer.
